Booking Is Easier Than You Think!

You've finally made the decision to book a session, so how do you go about it? Of course, you can stop by my studio when the "Open" sign is on, and I'm happy to help you, but I've made it SO EASY to book online from the comfort of your own home! You can even book on your mobile device when you're on the go!

The unknown, however, can be intimidating and overwhelming, so I've put together a quick little step-by-step on how to navigate my website and snag your spot for your very own photo session!

Whether you're booking a specialty session, a Senior shoot, or getting the family together for an updated portrait, the route you take to secure your spot is all the same, and incredibly easy!

You can click "Services" to see our galleries and read about our photo experiences, but the easiest way to book is to click "Booking" from the menu. On a mobile phone, the Menu button is on the top right and looks like a square with some lines inside.

Once you've clicked "Booking," you can scroll through all of the services we currently offer (except for Weddings, which you can find quotes for via email request). The top services are our specialty services or any limited-time deals we are running. As you scroll down, you'll see Senior options, couples, child/teen, family, and more. On this page, you'll see the total cost, as well as the time generally spent on the session. In the case of same-day viewing sessions, the time includes a 45-minute break while we prepare your images for ordering.

To find out more about each session before booking, you can hover or click on the title of the service you're interested in. This will lead you to a detailed page before you choose your day/time and place your deposit.

Once you've clicked the session you're interested in, you'll be able to see an example along with all the details you need. You'll be able to see what each session includes, read details about ordering your prints or photo products, view any important booking tips (as some require at least a two-week notice), location and contact details, and our cancellation policy. After absorbing these details, you can reserve your spot by clicking "book now" at the top or bottom of the page.

Clicking "Book Now" brings you to our calendar. I'm not generally available on Sundays or Mondays unless in case of a photo emergency, but I am open Tuesdays-Saturdays. Just select the most convenient day for you and we'll be ready!

Once you've chosen your day, you can choose your time. As most of the light we use is natural, our hours change throughout the year. During the winter, we have to start earlier in the day in order to make the best use of our time, but we can extend our hours during the summer as the sun sticks around a bit longer. We also have artificial light options that we can use at any time of the day or night, so you'll be sure to get a wide range of photos no matter what time you choose.

Hours available depend, again, on what natural light we can use, as well as time that has already been booked that day. Though we try to keep just one session a day, we do sometimes get two on the longer days when it works out.

You've picked your day and time? Great! Click "Next" to carry on!

Here, you'll enter your contact details. You'll also have an opportunity to add a coupon code, request a specific stylist, or ask any other questions you may have. You'll see your deposit price over on the right, and you will NOT BE CHARGED anything until you continue on. We can take your deposit in cash or card in the shop, but a card deposit IS REQUIRED to hold your spot for ANY photo session we work on. Generally, the deposits don't exceed $50 and will be taken out of your final price (example, the $50 deposit on a $275 session means you will pay $225 the day of your session).

After entering your payment details into our secure server, you will receive a confirmation email, followed by a welcome email sent by me, personally!
